Catholic Parish Outreach is a program of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Raleigh and is celebrating 41 years of serving the Triangle community! CPO provides emergency food assistance and, when possible, small children’s clothing and baby items, such as formula and diapers. The food pantry gives hope to its clients by treating them with dignity and respect along with showing that volunteers come together with one purpose – to help them. CPO also provides a food stamp outreach program, and a resource list of other assistance throughout the community.
Dorcas Ministries provides crisis relief to residents who seek stability and self-sufficiency through food and financial assistance, scholarships, training programs, referrals and an affordable thrift shop. Dorcas Ministries focus area is Cary and Morrisville.
The mission of the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina is: No One Goes Hungry in Central & Eastern North Carolina. Established in 1980, the Food Bank is a nonprofit organization that has provided food for people at risk of hunger in 34 counties for over 35 years. The Food Bank serves a network of more than 800 partner agencies such as soup kitchens, food pantries, shelters, and programs for children and adults through distribution centers in Durham, Greenville, New Bern, Raleigh, the Sandhills (Southern Pines) and Wilmington.
North Raleigh Ministries is a faith-based non-profit founded and supported by local church congregations. NRM was established to meet the needs of families and individuals with emergency situations who live in the North Raleigh community. Today NRM is building a thriving community through relationship, resilience, and restoration. Supportive services for neighbors in financial crisis include a food pantry, classes and groups, case management and financial crisis assistance.
